Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), through its Growth Markets Fund, has appointed Powercon to manage its 300 MW wind energy project in Karnataka, India. Envision Energy will supply the turbines, while Powercon will assume full operational management.
Its responsibilities include oversight of turbines and balance of plant operations, coordination with utilities and regulators, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of real-time power offtake strategies. Powercon will also handle service provider management, insurance, budgeting, reporting, accounting, payments, collections, treasury, and tax compliance.
