OnPath Energy has completed the sale of seven onshore wind farms in England to ERG. The sites are Armistead near Kendal, Heysham South near Lancaster, Lambs Hill near Stockton-on-Tees, Hook Moor near Leeds, Marr near Doncaster, Penny Hill near Rotherham and Hazlehead near Barnsley. All seven projects are eligible for the UK Renewable Obligation support scheme.
The transaction values the portfolio at £112.9m as of 31 December 2024. OnPath Energy will continue to manage the wind farms on behalf of ERG, and the community benefit arrangements associated with each site will remain in place for the lifetime of the projects.
OnPath Energy plans to reinvest the proceeds into its development pipeline. The company intends to advance new onshore wind proposals in England during the year and is assessing additional opportunities in Scotland and Wales.
