Stillstrom by Maersk has strengthened its leadership with new appointments in Copenhagen and Aberdeen. The company, which became independent in 2022, develops integrated offshore charging solutions to support maritime electrification and cleaner offshore operations. Nikolaj Stald has joined as Chief Commercial Officer at the Copenhagen headquarters.
He brings over 15 years of offshore wind experience and will lead the company’s commercial strategy. Gordon Dickson has been appointed Operations and Maintenance Lead in Aberdeen. A Chartered Engineer, he has more than 20 years of experience in offshore operations and maintenance.
The company has also added seven staff across its legal, commercial, and HSEQ teams, bringing the total workforce to 31. Further recruitment is planned next year, particularly in Aberdeen, to support growth in the UK and European markets.
