IQIP has introduced the Hydrohammer IQ8, a hydraulic impact hammer designed for large monopile foundations in offshore wind projects. The hammer is intended for challenging soil conditions and large-scale installation requirements.
Building on the IQ6, the IQ8 offers increased capacity and performance while supporting noise-reduction measures. Key specifications of the Hydrohammer IQ8:
- Blow energy: over 7,500 kJ
- Equipped with a 9.3 m sleeve for large monopiles (larger sizes on request)
- Optional Pulse add-on for noise reduction
- Hydraulic power: 9,900 litres per minute
