Hellenic Cables, the cables division of Cenergy Holdings, has secured a contract from Seaway7 to supply around 165 kilometres of 66 kV submarine inter-array cables and related accessories for the East Anglia TWO (EA2) offshore wind farm in the UK.
The company’s scope includes the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of the cables, along with all associated accessories. Production will take place at Hellenic Cables’ submarine cable plant in Corinth, Greece, beginning in 2026, with final deliveries scheduled for the first half of 2027.
Developed by ScottishPower Renewables, EA2 forms part of the East Anglia Hub. Located in the southern North Sea, approximately 32.6 kilometres off the Suffolk coast, the wind farm will consist of up to 64 turbines with a total capacity of up to 960 MW.
