Iberdrola has agreed to acquire full ownership of the Ararat Wind Farm in the state of Victoria, Australia, from Partners Group and OPTrust. The onshore wind project has an installed capacity of 242 MW and has been in operation since 2017.
Most of the electricity generated by the Ararat Wind Farm is sold under power purchase agreements with large commercial and industrial customers. The transaction is subject to the customary conditions associated with this type of acquisition.
