RWE has signed an eight-year power purchase agreement with Global Switch for electricity supply from the Brechfa Forest West onshore wind farm. Under the agreement, Global Switch will use electricity from the project to supply its data centre in London’s Docklands.
The agreement runs from January 2026 to 2033, with RWE supplying 70 GWh of electricity per year. Brechfa Forest West is located in southwest Wales and was commissioned in 2018. The wind farm comprises 28 turbines and has an installed capacity of 57.4 MW.
