Offshore wind converter station construction begins in Lingen

Amprion has laid the foundation stone for a new converter station in Lingen, Lower Saxony, to support the DolWin4 and BorWin4 offshore grid connection projects. Both projects are scheduled to be operational by 2028. The two connections will integrate 1.8 GW of offshore wind capacity into the electricity grid at Lingen.
