Global Underwater Hub and the Umbilical Manufacturers’ Federation will jointly host the fifth Umbilicals Conference on Tuesday, 11 November, at Global Underwater Hub’s premises in Westhill, Aberdeen. The one-day event will bring together stakeholders from the renewables and offshore wind sectors, alongside representatives from oil and gas, to discuss new technologies for the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of subsea umbilicals.
Indeximate demonstrates cable monitoring technology at RWE offshore wind farm

Indeximate has completed a demonstration of its cable health monitoring technology for RWE at the Arkona offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The trial followed Indeximate’s success in RWE’s 2023 innovation competition and took place over winter 2024–25, monitoring two cable strings serving 13 turbines.
Fugro completes site investigations for TenneT Germany offshore grid projects

NYK secures long-term charter for offshore wind crew transfer vessel in Japan

Ofgem names Equitix preferred bidder for Neart na Gaoithe OFTO

The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) has selected Equitix as the preferred bidder for the Tender Round 10 Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) project. The 448 MW Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm, developed by Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Limited—a 50/50 joint venture between EDF Renewables UK and Irish energy company ESB—is located around 16 km from Fife Ness and 16 km from the Isle of May.
Canada opens offshore wind Call for Information and Prequalification
