Invenergy and Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est close financing for PPAW 1 wind project in Quebec

Invenergy and the Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est, a consortium of 209 municipalities and territories in Eastern Quebec, have announced the closing of financing for the Pohénégamook-Picard-Saint-Antonin-Wolastokuk 1 (PPAW 1) Wind Energy Centre. The total financing secured amounts to CAD 1.1 billion.

American Offshore Services adds fourth vessel to G-Class fleet

American Offshore Services has announced the delivery of M/V Gamekeeper, the fourth vessel in its G-Class fleet. Built in the USA and compliant with the Jones Act, the 30-metre catamaran is now operational and will support offshore wind projects along the U.S. East Coast.
Gamekeeper is powered by four engines and fitted with Northern Offshore Services’ high-grip fender system. It has capacity for 24 passengers and is designed specifically for crew transfer operations in the USA’s offshore wind sector.

Trianel and Deutsche Windtechnik reach agreement on long-term service partnership

Deutsche Windtechnik will provide maintenance and service for the Trianel Offshore Wind Farm Borkum I (TWB) in the North Sea. The agreement covers 40 Adwen AD5-116 wind turbines, previously known as Areva Wind M5000, with a combined capacity of 200 MW.
