Canada opens offshore wind Call for Information and Prequalification

The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator (CNSOER) has launched the offshore wind Call for Information NS25-1R and Prequalification NS25-1R. Both processes are open for 90 days, from 16 October 2025 to 13 January 2026.
Owens Corning and Gjenkraft partner on composite recycling

Owens Corning’s Glass Reinforcements business has signed a Letter of Intent with Gjenkraft to develop scalable, circular solutions for post-industrial composite waste. The collaboration will focus on integrating high-quality recycled fibers from Gjenkraft’s thermolysis process into Owens Corning’s glass fiber products.
IQIP launches Hydrohammer IQ8 for offshore wind foundations

Tender opens for Dutch 1GW Nederwiek I-A offshore wind farm

The tender for the Nederwiek I-A wind energy zone opened on 16 October, with developers able to submit applications for a permit to build and operate a wind farm of around 1 GW until 30 October 2025. The site is located 95 kilometres off the northern tip of North Holland, in the southern part of the Nederwiek zone.
FairWind to expand in Asia-Pacific with Cosmic acquisition

The certification follows structural and lightning testing, as well as final production of the 49.2-metre blade designed for 2 MW turbines. The achievement marks a step towards the first commercial installation of the ACT100 and its introduction to the wider market.
